Services

What I help with, and how.

A short list — by design. Therapy works best when it's specific. These are the places I can offer real depth.

03Areas of focus

Where my work lives

  • 01

    Anxiety & overwhelm

The kind of anxiety that doesn't always look like anxiety — the racing inner critic, the trouble sleeping, the inability to slow down even when you're exhausted. We'll work to understand what your nervous system is trying to protect, and what would help it settle.

    • Generalized anxiety
    • Burnout
    • Perfectionism
    • Sleep disruption
  • 02

    Life transitions

Career changes, new parenthood, the end of a relationship, the death of a parent, moving across the country. Transitions ask us to grieve what was while we're still trying to build what's next — therapy can be a steady place to do both at once.

    • Career pivots
    • New parenthood
    • Loss & grief
    • Major moves
  • 03

    Identity & relationships

Questions about who you are when no one's watching, what you actually want, why you keep choosing the same dynamic. We'll look at the family stories you grew up inside and the relationships you're building now.

    • Family of origin
    • Attachment patterns
    • LGBTQ+ identity
    • Cross-cultural identity
  • 04

    Self-worth & creative blocks

When the voice in your head sounds nothing like the way you'd speak to a friend. Together we'll trace where that voice came from, what it was once trying to do, and how to gently relieve it of its job.

    • Inner critic
    • Imposter feelings
    • Creative paralysis
04Format

How sessions actually run.

50 minutes

The standard clinical hour. Long enough to drop in, short enough to stay focused.

Weekly cadence

Most of the work happens between sessions. Weekly rhythm gives the work somewhere to land.

In-person & virtual

Brooklyn office or secure video (NY state residents only). Most clients mix both.

Plain English

No jargon, no homework binders. We'll talk like two people who are taking your life seriously.

05Common questions

Before you reach out.

  • How long does therapy with you usually last?

It depends on what you're here for. Some people come for three months around a specific transition; others stay for years and use therapy as a steady place to think. We'll talk openly about it as we go.

  • Do you offer evening or weekend sessions?

I keep a small number of evening slots (Tues/Thurs 6–7pm) for people whose schedules can't bend during the day. They tend to fill quickly — please ask.

  • Do you work with couples?

Not at this time. I see individuals only. If couples work is what you're looking for, I'm happy to refer you to colleagues I trust.

  • What if I'm not sure therapy is the right step?

Start with a free 15-minute call. There's zero pressure to continue — sometimes the consult itself helps clarify whether now is the right time.
