You don't have to figure this out alone.
I'm a Brooklyn-based therapist helping high-functioning adults work through anxiety, life transitions, and the quiet questions that don't have easy answers.

Warm, not clinical
I'm a real person in the room with you — not a script.
Evidence-based
Relational, psychodynamic, and somatic — used in service of you.
No pressure to commit
Start with a free 15-minute call. Continue only if it feels right.

Why I do this work
"The work of therapy isn't to fix you. It's to make space for the parts of you that have been waiting to be heard."
I became a therapist because I believe in the slow, unglamorous power of being deeply listened to. After ten years in clinical work — first in community mental health, then in private practice — I've come to trust that most of us already know what we need. We just need a room, a witness, and time to find it.
My training is in relational and psychodynamic therapy, woven through with somatic and parts-based work when it serves you. In practice, this means we'll move between insight and feeling, between the present moment and the patterns you've been carrying since long before now.
I work especially well with people who are doing well on paper but quietly aren't — the high-achievers, the caretakers, the ones who've learned to be fine. If that sounds familiar, you're in good company.
Areas of focus
Whatever brought you here today, you're not alone in it. These are the themes I sit with most often.
- 01
Anxiety & overwhelm
The kind of anxiety that doesn't always look like anxiety — the racing inner critic, the trouble sleeping, the inability to slow down even when you're exhausted. We'll work to understand what your nervous system is trying to protect, and what would help it settle.
- Generalized anxiety
- Burnout
- Perfectionism
- Sleep disruption
- 02
Life transitions
Career changes, new parenthood, the end of a relationship, the death of a parent, moving across the country. Transitions ask us to grieve what was while we're still trying to build what's next — therapy can be a steady place to do both at once.
- Career pivots
- New parenthood
- Loss & grief
- Major moves
- 03
Identity & relationships
Questions about who you are when no one's watching, what you actually want, why you keep choosing the same dynamic. We'll look at the family stories you grew up inside and the relationships you're building now.
- Family of origin
- Attachment patterns
- LGBTQ+ identity
- Cross-cultural identity
- 04
Self-worth & creative blocks
When the voice in your head sounds nothing like the way you'd speak to a friend. Together we'll trace where that voice came from, what it was once trying to do, and how to gently relieve it of its job.
- Inner critic
- Imposter feelings
- Creative paralysis
My approach

"What if the thing you've been calling a problem is actually a part of you asking for attention?"
Most of the people I work with come in expecting to be fixed. They show up with a list of what's wrong and a hope that I'll know how to make it stop. I won't, exactly — and I think you'd be disappointed in the long run if I tried.
Instead, we'll slow down. We'll get curious about what your symptoms are saying, what your relationships are revealing, what your body has been carrying. Therapy with me is more conversation than checklist — and yet, it's structured by clear ideas about how change actually happens.
- 01
Consultation
A free 15-minute call so you can hear my voice, ask anything, and see if we feel like a fit. No pressure, no obligation.
- 02
First three sessions
We map your history, your hopes, and what's been hard to name. By session three we'll have a working understanding of what you're here for.
- 03
Ongoing work
Weekly 50-minute sessions, in-person or virtual. We track what's shifting and stay honest about what isn't — therapy should be a place where the truth is welcome.
Insurance & fees
I want fees to be one of the simplest, clearest parts of our working together — never a surprise.
In-network with
- Aetna
- Cigna
- Optum / United
- Oxford
- Empire BlueCross BlueShield
I'll verify your benefits before our first session and walk you through what to expect.
Out-of-network & private pay
I'm happy to provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement. Many PPO plans reimburse 60–80% of the session fee after a deductible is met.
A small number of sliding-scale spots are reserved for clients for whom standard fees would be a barrier. Please ask — there's no awkwardness, only honesty.
